Flunk @ The Blue Room on Saturday
The Flunk BBC Radio One Blue Room session will be on air this Saturday. The
show is on at 4 AM Saturday June 1st. You can listen to the show live on the
net, after a good night out tonight! The session includes «Blue Monday»,
«Your Koolest Smile» and «Sugar Planet» (exclusive vocal version of the
album track).
Meanwhile, home in Oslo, Flunk play a free student gig tonight. The gig will
include brand new track «Six-Seven Times» and a meaty new version of «Blue

Flunk score «Album of the issue» in DJ Mag
Flunk gets the «Album of the issue»-slot in the June 15th issue of DJ Mag.
The review claims «For Sleepyheads Only» to be «the missing link between
Bristol, Jamaica, Norway, and North and South America. Heat dust and polar ice
become one, and a hundred emotions are gently uttered in the process. This is
ownbeat sophistication that screws the zeitgeist with a capital F».

Radio Magnetic Flunk Special... and more!
Check out cool Glasgow based Radio Magnetic for an hour of Flunk special in the
coming days. «Blue Monday» is still listed as one of the 10 most wanted tracks on
the station.

«For Sleepyheads Only» will be album of the week on German radio Station WDR5
next week.

Flunk did a very short acoustic gig at Notting Hills Arts Club on Monday. Packed
house, happy people. A UK tour is being scheduled for October, but the band might
be back in London in late summer.

The BBC Radio One Blue Room-session went well on Monday. Check their site to

Flunk-single «Blue Monday» is A-listed on Glasgow station, Radio Magnetic.
Check them out and listen online!
German independent station Radio Z has Flunk as album of the week this week.
Later this month the «For Sleepyheads Only» album will be presented as album
of the week on another German station, WDR Funkhaus Europa. They will also
put «at least one track on rotation».
