This Is What You Get
The new Flunk album is out next week. You can buy it on iTunes and
other good sites on Monday.

Info on the show at Parkteatret, Oslo on Monday (May 11) night:
Buy tickets online at Billettservice.no or at 7/11, Posten or Narvesen.
Doors open at 8 pm, the show will start at app. 9 pm. Tickets are 80 NOK.
On Friday (May 15) we play Circa in Tromso.

Concert tickets, CD release
Tickets for our first full Oslo concert for 'years' are available now,
buy here. The date is Monday, May 11th, venue is Parkteatret.
The album 'This Is What You get' is out the same day on iTunes etc
worldwide - the release of the CD version is, however, moved to

Saint Thomas Tribute + new album
Flunk have not spent the last months updating our website, as you will
have noticed. But there is a new album in the process, set for release
early summer 2009.
Meanwhile a Saint Thomas tribute album out on October 6 will
feature a brand new Flunk version of his 'Last Word'. More info

CHRISTMAS IN OSLO
Flunk will do the only full gig in Oslo this year on Pavilion on Friday
December 14. There might even be a christmas song in the set.

Flunk will play Pavilion in Oslo on the night of the Norwegian release of
Personal Stereo, Monday April 23. Not a full concert, just a short acoustic set.
Those not in the neighbourhood, can look forward to a player which
will appear just over Easter, where you can listen to the whole album
as much as you want!

NEW ALBUM FINISHED
The new Flunk album has been completed. Personal Stereo will be out
on April 23 on Beatservice Records.
The album includes 10 tracks, nine Flunk compositions plus a new version
of 'See You'. A single will be out a few weeks prior to the album, the tracks
will be announced soon. Three of the album tracks are out on the MySpace site.

ITUNES EXCLUSIVE LIVE EP OUT
The KEXP Live Sessions digital EP including an acoustic version
of the 1982 Depeche Mode song, See You, is out today as an
iTunes exclusive. It will be available on other sites from November.
It's official release date was October 9, but it seems
iTunes have been working ahead of schedule!
Flunk play Pavilion in Oslo this coming Saturday. It's a free gig.

Beatservice are also releasing old material, including a digital version
of the vinyl only single from 2002, Miss World, complete with a
brand new cover design.

OSLO, ISTANBUL GIGS
Two more Flunk live shows are confirmed. We are playing the
Chill-out Festival 2006 in Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday September 10.
Not much additional info on that one, but we know fellow Norwegian
band Ralph Myerz and The Jack Herren Band are playing, and that
the organiser is the radio station Loung 102.
We will also play Oslo in September. At last, it's been almost two
years. The venue is a small cafe called Pavilion.

iTunes live exclusive
We are planning to release a digital only release around October 1,
including two or three tracks recorded live at our gig at Hotel Cafˆ©
in Los Angeles in May. One of the tracks will be the cover of Depeche
Mode's 'See You'.

At the Babylon Club in Bratislava on June 7, and at the Roxy in

Flunk play Chop Suey in Seattle on Thursday May 4th.
Support acts are Ursula 1000 and Mercir. Tickets available here.
We move to San Francisco on Saturday May 6th. The venue is
Fort Mason, and the gig is in connection with Norway Day 2006.

Big Love party
On the April 2nd episode of the MBO show Big Love, the Flunk
track "See Thru You" (off the "...Sleepyheads" album) was
played in a party scene!

Flunk goes West Coast
We're happy to announce that Flunk will play in the US in May.
It will not be a tour as such: Flunk will play live at Fort Mason,
San Francisco on Saturday May 6th in connection with
Norway Day 2006. We will definitely (at last!!) play Seattle
on this trip, and probably also Los Angeles. More info soon!

Flunk on American Airlines
The Flunk track «I've Been Waiting All My Life To Leave You» (elektrofant's
dx7 remix) will be featured on America Airlines in-flight radio in June!
Flunk appear alongside Everything But The Girl, Prefuse 73, Chemical

The O.C. compilation out now
The compilation «Music From the O.C. #4» is out this week, including
Flunk's «Play». The album is already top 3 on iTunes Music Store main
album chart. Check it out here.
As mentionted earlier, there is another Flunk track on «The O.C.» TV
show coming up. The episode is shown next Thursday (Apr 14), and
features «All Day And All Of he Night».

More Flunk on The O.C.
Seems Flunk have become darlings of the Fox hit series The O.C.
In January the track «Play» was a feature song. On the show on April 14,
another Flunk track is featured in the show - the original cover version of
The Kinks' classic «All Day And All Of The Night».
The track is included on an EP released in the US by Kriztal soon. The EP
will also include remixes, and the «a side» will be a remix of Flunk's «All
Day...» version - done by Tronso & Nils Noa.

Meanwhile you can pre-order the upcoming The O.C. compilation including
«Play». The compilation is due for release next month.

Play America out now
«Play America» was released this week on Beatservice.
The 10 track album has all the bonus tracks from the US version released last
October plus five remixes.

Check out your iTunes Store for an exclusive online release now. «All Day And All Of
The Night Remixes» include Flunk's cover of the Kinks' classic, original version and
the dancefloor killer mix by Tronso & Nils Noa plus four more «Morning Star» mixes
released by Kriztal.
It's been high on the download charts both in the US and the UK.
Meanwhile, the «Morning Star» album has been enjoying several weeks on the
official US Electronica chart.

Anja won Unsigned prize
Flunk singer Anja this month won an «Unsigned» prize presented by Norway's
most important music radio channel, NRK P3. The prize should boost her solo career,
which she's working on beside being in Flunk.

Play on The O.C. compilation
Not only will the opening track from our «Morning Star» album be featured on US
prime time show «The O.C.» in January 2005. It will also appear on the next «Music
From the O.C.» - #4, which will be out in the US in March next year!

You can now watch the brand new video for «Six Seven Times» on our Images
page. It was directed, filmed and cut by Erik Hannemann.

This week the album is around the #30 spot. Debut single «Blue Monday» from 2002

Extended US version out now!
Morning Star is now out in the US, through Miami label Kriztal. The album includes
a total of five (!) new tracks not previously available:
?Play?, ?True Faith? (new live recording from Jo's rehearsal studio), ?Probably?,
?Skysong? (known from our live set as ?Lucky Girl?) and ?All My Dreams On Hold?.
